Violet is a bat who sleeps all day. Lainey is a ladybug who sleeps all night. They're best friends who never get to play together — until one special day when Lainey asks Violet to stay awake and see the sunshine.
Based on the picture book by Mindy Jenkins, this is a gentle 19-page bedtime adventure your child can read, hear, and play their way through.
READ IT TOGETHER
• Every page is narrated aloud
• Tap any single word to hear it on its own — lovely for early readers
• Put your child's name on the title page
• Choose "Just the Story" for a quiet ten minutes, or "Story + Games" for the whole adventure
• It remembers where you stopped
EIGHTEEN GAMES ALONG THE WAY
• Paint the story scenes, or make your own picture on a blank canvas
• Build a kite and fly it
• Count butterflies and catch them in the right net
• Find your way through the bushes
• Match the fishes, pop the bubbles, catch the apples
• Play tic-tac-toe, remember the fireflies' pattern, fill the treasure chest
• Make a song with the owl
• Tuck Violet and Lainey into bed at the end
