LureyWurey: Fly Tying & Lure Log is your cozy digital workspace, fly tying recipe catalog, water sink rate calculator, and stream box organizer. Designed for fly anglers, custom lure craftspeople, fly tyers, and freshwater stream guides, LureyWurey turns complex pattern craft and water reading into a clear, stress-free routine.
Organize fly box compartments visually, compute sink rates for weighted nymphs and sinking lines, match hook wire gauges with feather materials, and archive your custom fly collection in a private digital vault.
Key Features and Fly Studio Tools
Fly Box Layout & Compartment Organizer
- Visual Compartment Grid Engine: Design custom fly box grids (dry flies, nymphs, streamers, midges) with precise slot placements.

- Fly Box Deck Manager: Group physical fly boxes by targeted species (Trout, Salmon, Bass, Steelhead) or water types.
Water Depth & Sink Rate Scaler
- Sink Rate & Line Density Calculator: Compute sink speeds (inches per second / IPS) based on bead head weight, wire wraps, and sinking tip density.
- Hatch Chart & Emergence Tracker: Match active insect hatches (Mayfly, Caddis, Stonefly, Midges) with seasonal weather conditions.
- Drift Offset & Tippet Gauge: Calculate optimal tippet length and leader tapers based on current speed and water clarity.
