La description

Digestly is a food, symptom and exposure diary for families managing food allergies and intolerances. Log what was eaten, what happened afterwards and anything else that might matter, and Digestly looks for patterns between them — including reactions that arrive up to three days later — and turns them into a report you can hand to your doctor.

It never diagnoses. It says what was logged and when, how often one thing came before another, and how sure it is. What that means is a conversation for a clinician, and Digestly exists to make that conversation better informed.

LOG IN SECONDS
• Meals with their ingredients — favourites, recents, "same as yesterday", saved meals
• Scan a barcode and the ingredient list is offered to you
• On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, read a photo of the plate on the device itself; suggestions stay unticked until you confirm them
• Symptoms with a severity from 1 to 5, the part of the body, a note and a photo
• Exposures: pollen, pets, skin products, detergents, dust and more
• Medication, sleep and illness, so a pattern that overlaps one of them says so

PATTERNS WITH HONEST LABELS
• Every food and exposure is checked against every symptom across windows from 2 to 72 hours
• Each pattern is put through an exact statistical test and corrected for everything else that was tried, so testing many pairings does not manufacture a result
• Labelled Recurring or Possible, with its counts, the window that matched and the entries behind it
• A "why am I seeing this?" sheet explains what was compared, and what the pattern does not mean

THE WHOLE FAMILY, ONE DIARY
• A profile for each person, a switcher on every screen, patterns worked out per person
• Link a breastfed baby to the parent who feeds them and see the parent's meals alongside the baby's symptoms
• Feeding stages for babies: breastmilk, formula, first solids, the family menu
• Share a profile to a co-parent's phone as an encrypted file that opens only with a code you pass on yourself

FOR THE APPOINTMENT
• A PDF report for a date range: symptom timeline, the foods and exposures that appeared before symptoms with their counts, the exposure log and any trial in progress
• An emergency card per person: the action plan your doctor gave you, stored exactly as given, who to call, and auto-injector expiry dates with reminders
• Elimination and reintroduction trials, comparing the symptom rate during the trial with the weeks around it
• CSV export of the raw diary

EVERY DAY
• Trends: each symptom's frequency and severity by week or month, with sleep and activity from Apple Health if you connect it (read-only, optional, off by default)
• Foods: a child's journey through first foods, group by group
• Apple Watch: log a symptom from the wrist in one tap; the emergency-care notice appears there too
• Widgets for today's counts and the emergency card; a Control Center control that opens the log

PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT
• No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party code
• Your diary stays on your iPhone and, if you choose, in your own iCloud
• The only network request is the barcode lookup, and it sends the barcode digits and nothing else
• Erase all data removes everything from the device and from your iCloud

No subscription, no adverts, no locked features.

Available in English, German, Spanish, French and Russian. Requires iOS 18 or later. Apple Watch companion requires watchOS 11 or later.

Digestly is a journal, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Always consult a qualified clinician about allergies — especially for children, and urgently for any severe reaction. Call emergency services for signs of anaphylaxis.
